Insurance Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at The Avers Agency. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping people and eager to start a career in insurance sales.
As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed. Your primary role will be to assist clients in understanding their insurance needs and providing them with suitable coverage options.
Key Responsibilities- Implement our proven sales system in the field, which is taught in training, to effectively meet client needs.
- Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, including cold calling and networking, to connect with potential clients while maintaining a portfolio of current clients.
- Conduct meetings with new and potential clients, carefully listening to their individual circumstances to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs.
- Stay updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio.
- Previous experience in direct sales, outside sales, leadership, or business-to-business sales is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
- Be teachable and coachable, with a desire to grow within your career.
- Goal-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Active insurance license or willingness and ability to obtain upon hire.
- Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities.
