Position Summary
The Insurance Sales Consultant position is responsible for marketing, prospecting, and selling insurance products across various lines offered by American Family Insurance. The consultant also enhances brand visibility by engaging in agency and community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitates agency growth by employing consultative selling strategies to attract new clients
  • Actively cross-sells and collaborates with agency colleagues to offer additional coverage to current clients
  • Generates new business through personal efforts and established lead generation techniques
  • Prepares quotes and applications, delivering compelling presentations to secure sales
Required Qualifications
  • Employment contingent upon obtaining a Property & Casualty license within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and organize workload effectively
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, etc.)
