MRO Operations Project Leader

- Establish project objectives and deliverables that align with organizational goals in partnership with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Create and manage project timelines to ensure work is completed within agreed turnaround times.
- Assess the necessary resources and expertise required to meet project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and key deliverables.
- Prepare and present progress reports along with effective communication to customers and stakeholders.
- Anticipate changes in project scope, recognize potential challenges, and formulate contingency strategies.
- Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards, customer expectations, and organizational policies across all projects.
- Identify and oversee project interdependencies and critical timelines.
- Develop and execute plans for risk management.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and generate recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to the company's safety protocols while performing their tasks.
- Maintain the quality of work delivered by technicians.
- Oversee the proper management of materials and ensure accurate documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional interaction with all internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks promptly, including follow-up responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to analyze data and apply problem-solving techniques.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MRO inspections, including heavy maintenance.
Experience in team leadership is essential.
Must hold a valid FAA A&P certification.
PMP certification from the Project Management Institute is preferred.
