Motion Technologies is one of four ITT Value Centers focused on the Transportation industry. The Motion Technologies Value Center generates over $862M in revenues and is made up of three businesses.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for ensuring customer delivery requirements are met. The position requires a solid understanding of warehouse operations and is based in Hebron, KY USA.



Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse safety; forklift operation, proper lifting, harness use, etc.
  • Unloading and signing for material receipts (damages)
  • Staging of material prior to receiving
  • Receiving and proper location of material
  • Process for accurately picking material to order
  • Packaging and preparing picks for shipment (wrap, label, BOL, carrier notification)
  • Safe loading practices (dock lock, wheel chocks, driver awareness)
  • Order finalization
  • KPI reporting / 5S / Daily prep meeting
  • MRO material management (pallets, boxes, tape, stretch wrap, etc.)
  • Complete special projects as required by business needs

Qualifications

Skills/Experience:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Ability to operate calculators and weighing scales.
  • 2 years of experience working in warehouse or similar team environments around forklift equipment, foot traffic, and trucking.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office, Web applications and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance workload in an efficient manner
