Aviation Project Management Specialist

- Establish project objectives and deliverables that align with organizational goals in partnership with upper management and stakeholders.
- Create and manage project timelines to ensure the delivery of work scope within agreed turnaround times.
- Assess the necessary resources and expertise required to meet project objectives.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and present progress reports while maintaining effective communication with Customers.
- Proactively address changes in project scope, recognize potential challenges, and formulate contingency strategies.
- Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards, Customer expectations, and company policies throughout all projects.
- Identify and oversee project dependencies and critical paths to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop and implement strategies for risk management and mitigation.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and generate recommendations to highlight areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to the company's safety protocols during their tasks.
- Maintain high standards of quality in the work performed by technicians.
- Ensure proper handling of materials and accurate completion of documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional interaction with all internal and external Customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks promptly, including follow-up actions.
- Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of analyzing information and employing problem-solving techniques.
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MRO checks, including heavy maintenance.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership.
Must possess an active FAA A&P certification.
PMP designation from the Project Management Institute is preferred.
