About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Specialist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first, second, and third trimester obstetrical ultrasound exams.
  • Perform detailed obstetrical ultrasounds.
  • Document abnormal obstetric findings following OB ultrasound protocol guidelines.
  • Assist in the OR with obstetrical procedures.
  • Perform screening and diagnostic fetal echocardiograms.
  • Assist physicians in performing amniocentesis, CVS, cordocentesis, and other needle/catheter-guided obstetrical procedures.
Requirements
  • Completion of a diagnostic ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and registered in abdominal and obstetrical ultrasound, or experience equivalent to criteria for eligibility for registration in abdominal and obstetrical ultrasound by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
