Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in an efficient and timely manner. You will work closely with our team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities * Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in obstetrics and gynecology, including abdominal, gynecological, and obstetrical ultrasounds * Use ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs and tissues * Document exam data and develop reports for physician review and finalization * Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care * Maintain accurate records and quality control logs Requirements * Completion of a diagnostic medical sonography program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) * Registration in abdominal and obstetrical ultrasound by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively About Us The University of Washington Medical Center is a leading academic medical center that provides exceptional patient care, conducts innovative research, and educates the next generation of healthcare professionals.
