Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. As a Registered Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to our clients in various settings, including nursing homes, home care facilities, and prisons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Login to self-dispatching system or call dispatch department to obtain information regarding beginning case load.
  • Arrive at first case at start of assigned shift or leave house 30 minutes prior.
  • Unload portable sonographic equipment and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by physician.
  • Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and digitally send to Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Check voicemail from each client's facility upon completion of assigned case(s) or every 30 minutes as necessary.
  • Check for available cases via self-dispatching system and/or check in with dispatcher on duty every 30 minutes as necessary.
  • Wear company uniform, company-provided name tag, and follow company dress code.
  • Carry company-provided phone on person.
  • Respond to all urgent communication within 15 minutes.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Verify patient identity by asking for two patient identifiers, such as name and date of birth.
  • Ensure correct patient by verifying information against patient's chart.
  • Perform ultrasound exams in accordance with company protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate efficiently and professionally with call center, dispatch, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and sonographic equipment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound.
  • Vascular, required ARDMS credentials are (ARDMS RVT).
  • COVID 19 vaccinated, proof must be submitted in candidate packet at time of submission or candidate will be automatically declined.
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
  • Maintain required certification and registries, health requirements, and operational requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to produce license on demand.
