Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Deliver quality patient care while promoting customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and maintain a broad scope of practice.
  • Ensure efficient clinic operations through effective scheduling and resource management.
  • Conduct thorough assessments using both subjective and objective data.
  • Document and prioritize nursing assessments and care plans using critical thinking.
  • Implement care plans by delegating tasks to other nursing staff and monitoring their performance.
  • Develop educational plans for patients to support health maintenance and restoration.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Coordinate care and refer patients to appropriate services as needed.
  • Perform triage via phone and in-person, ensuring patients receive appropriate care.
  • Compile reports as necessary.
  • Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring a safe and high-quality healthcare environment.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A current Registered Nurse license in Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in nursing, an Associate's degree in nursing, or a diploma from an accredited nursing program is required.

Experience:
No prior experience is necessary for this role.

Physical Requirements:
This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.

Security Sensitive:
This role may involve responsibilities that are security sensitive as defined by Texas Education Code § 51.
