We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in interconnection and transmission planning. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, specifically in generation interconnection and transmission planning.
  • Experience with esteemed organizations such as major infrastructure developers, electric utilities, or energy consultancy firms.
  • Expertise in navigating regional markets including CAISO, PJM, SPP, ISO-NE, and other RTOs.
  • A solid understanding of AC/DC principles and three-phase power systems.
  • Familiarity with power system analysis software such as PSS/e, TARA, and Aspen One-Liner.
  • A robust background in power flow modeling and analytical techniques.
  • The ability to analyze complex interconnection study reports and convey project implications effectively.
  • Knowledge of RTO and utility tariffs, as well as associated business practices and guidelines.
  • Specialization in U.S. power markets, with a focus on solar and battery energy storage interconnections.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
