OVERVIEW:

The Regional Operations Supervisor plays a vital role within the Store Leadership team, overseeing a designated section of the Store while also managing overall Store operations during their shift as the Manager on Duty. This position entails responsibilities such as opening and closing the Store, supervising team members, and fostering a welcoming shopping atmosphere. The Supervisor ensures that merchandise is presented effectively and that the work environment remains clean and organized at all times. Additionally, they are tasked with implementing and overseeing Company operational procedures as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring Safety and Security:
  • Recognizes that safety is the top priority and consistently practices safe behaviors.
  • Maintains vigilance on the sales floor to promote a secure shopping experience for all customers. Takes immediate action to rectify or report any unsafe conditions.
  • Oversees the security of the premises, including managing access points, conducting daily checks on security devices, and ensuring the safety of cash handling.
  • Clears clutter and ensures unobstructed access to emergency exits.
  • Responsible for customer safety, including accident prevention and emergency response protocols.
  • Conducts scheduled tests of fire alarm systems and responds to alarms after hours as needed.
Customer Engagement:
  • Treats all customers, team members, and fellow leaders with respect and courtesy.
  • Exhibits professionalism and friendliness at all times, recognizing team members through Company recognition initiatives.
Brand Representation:
  • Embodies and promotes the Company brand consistently.
  • Maintains a professional appearance in line with Company Dress Code, ensuring all team members do the same.
  • Ensures all areas of the Store are clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing.
  • Responsible for the daily removal of trash.
  • Conducts hourly inspections of restrooms to meet cleanliness standards.
Merchandising Standards:
  • Ensures recovery, sizing, and markdowns are executed to Company standards through training, task assignment, and follow-up.
  • Handles merchandise deliveries as needed and processes all items promptly.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization in Stockrooms.
  • Assists in placing merchandise on the sales floor once processed.
  • Ensures back-stock is secured and processed according to Company policy.
  • Responsible for merchandising within the department, including back stock management.
  • Works to minimize loss due to damage and ensures compliance with monthly presentation guidelines.
  • Oversees floor moves and promotional signage as required.
  • Handles re-wraps as necessary.
Loss Prevention Awareness:
  • Understands and adheres to the Loss Prevention Awareness Program, maintaining a strong customer service presence on the sales floor.
  • Demonstrates integrity and honesty in all interactions, safeguarding confidential information.
  • Ensures the Public View Monitor (PVM) system is properly maintained.
  • Conducts package inspections as needed.
  • Implements Company Best Practices to maximize productivity.
Front End Management:
  • Implements Company Best Practices to enhance productivity and ensures team members are meeting standards at the Front End.
  • Maintains energy and presence at the Front End, managing customer flow to reduce wait times.
  • Trains and coaches team members on cash register operations and shortage control policies.
  • Manages Retail Associates' break schedules effectively.
  • Ensures all equipment is functioning properly and maintains adequate supplies.
  • Expedites the processing of returns and ensures merchandise is properly tagged and ticketed.
  • Teaches team members the best practices for scanning and bagging.
  • Ensures merchandise on the Front End is salable and well-presented.
Fitting Room Oversight:
  • Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the Fitting Rooms.
  • Ensures compliance with garment tag auditing as per Company policy.
  • Monitors go-back compliance throughout the day, ensuring all returned merchandise is processed correctly.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Ensures cash pulls and bank deposits are conducted according to Company policy.
  • Manages Front End control as needed, adhering to policies regarding refunds and cash handling.
  • Handles payroll administration, including scheduling compliance and payroll reporting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Previous experience in customer service and supervisory roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to operate all Store equipment as required.
  • Ability to spend the majority of working hours standing and moving throughout the Store.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly.
  • Ability to occasionally lift more than 25 lbs.
  • Ability to use janitorial equipment and other assigned tools.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees Retail Associates.
  • Supervises Stockroom Leads where applicable.
