Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Loyal Source Government Services. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide critical support to our employees and management team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- HR Database Management: Efficiently enter and maintain employee data into our HR Information System (HRIS), including multiple excel spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy while meeting all deadlines.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations which pertain to Human Resources.
- Employee Support: Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries regarding employee data and general human resources matters, including phone calls and emails.
- Record Keeping: Collect, maintain, and update Employee records, including work locations, pay rates, PTO, status changes, password resets, and other necessary information.
- Benefits and Administrative Support: Assist with inquiries and issues related to benefits and other administrative HR processes, triage employee inquiries, and connect them to the right subject matter expert when necessary.
- Research and Recommendations: Research HR issues and offer constructive recommendations to improve HR programs and increase efficiency across the team.
- Project Support: Perform and assist on monthly projects and reports, such as Last Date Paid Audits, Term Logs, and other necessary tasks.
- Terminations and Exit Procedures: Timely and accurately process employee terminations, issue exit letters, complete unemployment claims, process employment verifications, and I-9's E-Verify.
- Credentialing and Onboarding: Support credentialing with onboarding inquiries and provide support in sending out offer letters.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle confidential information and matters of discretion in a professional manner.
- Escalation and Communication: Escalate issues as necessary to HR Manager or Leadership.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: Ability to provide guidance to employees and department heads in Human Resources, knowledge of the basic principles of all States personnel laws, rules, and regulations, and proficiency in related computer applications, including database entry and Microsoft.
- Language: Strong and effective communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience in human resources.
- Abilities: Ability to prioritize and continuously follow up on projects and deadlines, excellent customer service skills, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and solid organizational skills.
