JOB SUMMARY

The Bilingual Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with management to effectively implement local, regional, and corporate human resources initiatives, programs, and policies to ensure fair and consistent treatment of personnel within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations and employment laws.
  • Address issues such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee and applicant grievances.
  • Provide advice and recommendations for resolving issues to department leaders and staff.
  • Oversee the performance evaluation process, collaborating with management on employee assessments and coaching, offering training and consultation as needed.
  • Partner with management to develop and maintain workforce staffing strategies.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts to attract competent, diverse, and skilled candidates while managing workload levels effectively and minimizing turnover.
  • Formulate and propose objectives and goals in all areas of employee relations.
  • Develop and manage the labor relations aspect of the Human Resources program to enhance labor relations.
  • Create and oversee compensation policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Advise on compensation strategy planning and execution.
  • Communicate compensation policies, procedures, and programs to employees.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for HR practices and issue resolution.
  • Direct all HR functions and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) such as Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR).

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with three years in a supervisory role preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.

Professional Skills

  • Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations.
  • Expertise in recruiting and staffing.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.
