About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our Commercial Entertainment team at Marsh McLennan Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, selling new lines of coverage, and cross-selling within our existing book of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality service to clients, including addressing coverage issues, contract analysis, and exposure analysis.
  • Manage and control relationships with clients, including business managers and individual customers.
  • Perform daily servicing of customers, including addressing various coverage issues, contract analysis, exposure analysis, and handling all inside service work associated with clients' accounts.
  • Prepare formal proposals, check and bind policies, and oversee all processes related to renewals, account management, and new business development.
  • Inform the Producer on strategic account issues, claims, and other potential problems.
Requirements
  • Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with clients by meeting and exceeding client expectations at all times.
  • Provide consistent, accurate, timely, and pertinent communication to clients through regular updates and meetings.
  • Respond to client inquiries/issues within a 24-hour timeline.
  • Resolve/assist with any service or claims issues/questions.
  • Assist in designing or independently designing insurance plans for clients, thinking about out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes, making each contact a marketing opportunity.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to review summary reports, make presentations, and maintain client relationships as often as necessary.
  • Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures, gaps in coverage, stewardship programs, and other relevant information.
  • Monitor and review client satisfaction at least quarterly, reporting findings/issues to the Producer of the account.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required).
  • Current California Department of Insurance License.
  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • Proficient MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as use office machinery such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
