Senior Research Scientist

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 Base Salary


Overview: The Senior Research Scientist is responsible for the innovation and development of laboratory tests, ensuring compliance with GMP and CLIA regulations. This role collaborates closely with the Laboratory Director and CEO/Founder to achieve research and development objectives while managing intricate testing methodologies. Additionally, the position entails formulating scalable testing protocols, maintaining quality assurance, and effectively communicating research outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Employ specialized software to analyze and interpret experimental data.
  • Content Development: Author clinical reports, articles, white papers, blogs, and materials for conferences.
  • Findings Communication: Present insights to the research team and clinical consultants.
  • Research Presentation: Conduct presentations at webinars and national conferences.
  • Literature Review: Keep abreast of relevant peer-reviewed studies.
  • Confidentiality Maintenance: Protect all test results and personal patient information.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Endocrinology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Extensive background in hormone research and clinical laboratory environments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in ELISA, mass spectrometry, HPLC, or similar methodologies.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Familiarity with bioinformatics and statistical analysis software.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Knowledge of CLIA, FDA regulations, and GMP standards.
  • Publication History: Demonstrated research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Project Leadership: Capability to lead projects and manage timelines effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills for scientific and conference presentations.
  • Collaborative Ability: Work efficiently with cross-functional teams and clinical consultants.
