About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at BlockDox, a leading provider of data science powered optimization of critical building services. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and deploying AI-driven software solutions that enhance the performance of managed buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimize building operations and improve sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with our team of data scientists and engineers to design and implement AI-driven software solutions.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their building optimization goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Python and TensorFlow, with a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience working with IoT devices and software, including NodeRed and MQTT.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of business information and visualization tools, including monitoring and time series data storage and analysis.
  • Scripting experience in JavaScript and/or Python.
  • STEM degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Experience with software engineering practices, including Git and Agile.
