Key Responsibilities:
Deliver timely and impactful coaching to managers within the client group, fostering the development of effective and modern leadership capabilities.

Provide strategic guidance to business leaders and key personnel regarding succession planning, career development, and performance evaluation.

Ensure uniform disciplinary practices and adherence to legal standards.


Guide, instruct, and support leaders in the application of HR policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with legal and corporate regulations.


Employee Relations:
Offer HR consulting expertise to all management levels and staff.

Engage with employees and managers to identify root causes of issues and resolve them through a systematic and analytical approach, including conducting investigations.


Identify and propose training and development opportunities for the business unit(s) and assist in creating programs that enhance employee skill sets.

Contribute to fostering a safety-oriented culture within Hertz.

Recognize compensation-related issues and suggest appropriate solutions.

Identify challenges central to business strategy and anticipate potential barriers to success.


Act as a champion for organizational simplification, enhancing organizational capabilities, reducing complexity, and collaborating with clients to optimize team performance.

Strategically collaborate with client managers to design and implement effective global organizational frameworks and manage transitions.


Conduct leadership assessments within the organization, identifying key employee strengths and areas for development to recognize, select, retain, and nurture top talent.


Lead succession planning and talent development initiatives, pinpointing critical roles and preparing potential talent pipelines through mentoring and training.


Work alongside the HR team to ensure the successful implementation of essential HR operating rhythms, such as organization and talent reviews, compensation planning, and performance management, leveraging support as needed.


Develop and oversee strategies to attract, cultivate, engage, and retain a strong and diverse workforce, driving improvements based on feedback from employee surveys.

Collaborate with leaders and employees to foster a positive and contemporary workplace environment.

Provide the HR team with relevant coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities, including exposure to HR Strategic Partner skills and experiences.

Ensure ongoing performance enhancement within corporate functions, driving processes that facilitate improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent HR experience.

PHR/SPHR Certification is preferred.

2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist capacity.

Cross-functional HR knowledge.

Business acumen and understanding.

Familiarity with Employment Laws.

Strong leadership capabilities.

Effective people management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Financial management skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Strategic mindset with robust business acumen, enabling the connection of various elements to drive the HR agenda with proactive thought leadership.

Proven experience in making sound strategic HR decisions and evaluating executive leadership talent.

Confidence to express opinions and ideas, along with the willingness to provide constructive feedback and coaching to leadership.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of assessing situations and making judgments based on experience.
