Job Overview
Candidates are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Under the supervision of the Cash Forecasting and Reconciliations Section manager, the Junior Financial Accountant engages in critical financial analysis related to the State's comprehensive spending strategy to guarantee adequate cash flow for fulfilling the state's financial commitments.

The role operates at a professional financial accounting level, demonstrating a significant degree of autonomy, and frequently leading other professional financial accounting personnel. The incumbent is tasked with the most intricate financial accounting and cash management responsibilities, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the budgetary standards, practices, and reporting requirements of public finance.

Working Conditions
The opportunity for hybrid telework is available following the completion of the training period. Free parking is provided.

Who May Apply

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
