Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager who is enthusiastic about creating engaging financial products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all functional areas of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals (2-3 staff members).
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closes, adhering to strict deadlines while preparing financial statements and cash reconciliations.
  • Utilize automated systems, including ERP/financial software, travel and expense reporting systems, and time tracking tools.
  • Manage the annual audit process and coordinate state audits as required.
  • Align accounting functions and policies with remote offices and corporate headquarters.
  • Supervise fixed asset accounting and record-keeping.
  • Handle tax reporting and compliance, including federal and state filings for multiple entities, collaborating with external services and parent company.
  • Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
  • Continuously evaluate accounting processes, collaborating with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional accounting duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting; CPA certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a corporate accounting environment with mid-range automated financial systems; familiarity with MAS500 is advantageous.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in payroll, cash management, tax compliance, and labor/expense capitalization.
  • Experience with annual accounting audits.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices in a multi-entity organization and transfer pricing is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Experience in a software development company is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on prioritization and follow-through.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
Compensation: Salary range of $90,000 - $120,000.
