Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in financial reporting, with a focus on public company reporting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certifications: CPA license is mandatory.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; keen attention to detail; capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; proficiency in Excel, particularly with large datasets and advanced functions.
- Attributes: Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit and a strong desire to enhance the automation of accounting and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, footnotes, and detailed analyses for various stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings, earnings releases, and proxy statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Draft and maintain the consolidated Statement of Cash Flows and Statement of Shareholder's Equity, along with related disclosure checklists.
- Conduct technical accounting research and assist in drafting accounting position papers on a wide range of topics, including leases, business combinations, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare journal entries related to leasing and stock-based compensation.
- Maintain robust internal controls and contribute to the documentation and evaluation of financial processes to support SOX compliance.
- Assist both internal and external auditors during the annual integrated audit process.
