Position Summary

The HR Client Services Supervisor is responsible for strategizing, directing, and coordinating the administrative operations within the organization. This role entails managing daily departmental functions and supervising staff to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients. The Supervisor also offers consultation to clients and oversees various HR-related areas to maintain compliance. This position plays a vital role in shaping the HR department's objectives, strategies, and systems. Identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations are critical responsibilities of the HR Client Services Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee data management within the HR Information System (HRIS), including compensation and benefits administration.
  • Develop and revise employee handbooks, safety protocols, and HR documentation for new clients.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate departmental reports and outcomes against established objectives, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to clients on employee-related issues, including legal compliance.
  • Address employee inquiries and resolve workplace concerns.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims, collaborating with adjusters, employees, and clients.
  • Supervise HR staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness in their work.
  • Train HR personnel on new responsibilities and delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Promote job openings and screen candidate applications, participating in the interview and selection process.
  • Engage in professional development through webinars and seminars to stay current with HR practices.
  • Conduct training sessions, including manager training, harassment prevention, and new hire orientations.
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for HR clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of Federal and State labor regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and HR practices.
  • Experience in benefits administration and HRIS management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for problem identification and resolution.
  • Ability to analyze information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS applications.
  • Capability to adhere to established guidelines for various functions.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification required.
  • Professional in Human Resources in California (PHR-CA) certification preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
