Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the Human Resources Department and manage staff to ensure efficient operations and effective service delivery.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Client Services
    • Provide third-party Human Resources consulting services to clients, including strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training, and development.
    • Conduct performance reviews and assign pay changes as needed.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate work plans, assign projects, programs, and activities, and review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures.
    • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Training and Development
    • Conduct training sessions on topics such as sexual harassment, new hire orientations, and manager training.
  • Benefits and Compensation
    • Oversee and administer benefits programs, including group health and life, workers' compensation, unemployment, and retirement plans.
    • Administer benefit plan year-end compliance for ACA.
  • Recruitment and Staffing
    • Establish a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program to maintain a qualified pool of candidates.
    • Counsel managers on candidate selection and conduct exit interviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Professional Development
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of seven years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on client services and leadership.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
