Business Development Representative

In this role, you'll ignite your true potential by turning the wireless industry on its head, un-limiting what customers expect, and meeting and exceeding monthly sales quota objectives by successfully acquiring accounts within an assigned geographic territory.
Job Responsibilities- Under sales manager supervision, generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Identify customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, recommending wireless solutions with regard to price plans, data, and other enhanced services, handsets, and accessories.
- Negotiate and close deals, working with leadership to develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management.
- Participate in training opportunities on products and services, attend sales meetings, and devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
- Fully apply all sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools, managing sales funnels and generating reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably within a commissioned environment required.
- Task Management: ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking.
- Customer Service: demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail.
- Communication: excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Negotiation: effective negotiating and closing skills.
- Proposal Writing: experience preparing, delivering, and following up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations, preferred.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. Our Total Rewards Package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, 401(k), employee stock grants, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and up to 12 paid holidays, totaling about 4 weeks for new full-time employees and about 2.5 weeks for new part-time employees annually. Location and SalaryThe salary range for this role is $71,800 - $129,400, inclusive of target incentives. The base pay range is $43,080 - $77,640. The actual starting pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
