About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Category Merchant Manager to join our US Consumables team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing category strategies, and leading cross-functional projects to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive business growth and maximize unit and GMS growth.
  • Work closely with leadership to plan and execute business strategies, drive best-in-class customer experiences, and maximize unit and GMS growth.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
  • Manage seller relationships, identify and lead new seller partnerships, and enhance overall seller experience with better self-service and reporting resources.
  • Develop and execute business plans for new opportunities and lead project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong business judgment, written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data analysis.
  • Ability to operate as a team player, have fun at work, and have a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or related Master's preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and data-mining aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, plan, and delegate tasks.
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates creative problem-solving by adapting frameworks or existing best practices to solve problems in a unique way.
  • Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects, leading cross-functional projects and teams.
  • Strong proficiency in analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistics software.
  • P&L responsibility and experience delivering strong financial results.

The base pay for this position ranges from $126,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
