Job Summary:
The Educational Technology Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering technology assistance at the school level for assigned educational institutions. This role also involves occasional duties at the district's technology assistance center, where the specialist will respond to inquiries via phone and email, as well as provide in-person support. This position acts as a bridge between educational staff and technological resources within the district, fostering collaboration with instructional and library media personnel to address technology requirements at the building level.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct technology support to school staff and students.
  2. Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting desktop operating systems, including Mac OS and MS Windows.
  3. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive staff and student information.
  4. Utilize a personal vehicle for district-related travel as needed.
  5. Facilitate communication between educational staff and technology departments.

Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. A minimum of three years of experience in technology support or a related field.
  3. Proficient in various desktop operating systems.
  4. Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to access necessary locations.
