Job Overview: This role involves designing and implementing tailored educational experiences for students with disabilities across diverse learning environments. Utilizing the Individualized Education Program (IEP) framework, the specialist will support growth in critical areas including educational, social/emotional, communication, gross motor, fine motor, and adaptive skills.

Compensation: Determined by the FEA Negotiated Agreement
Contract Duration: Minimum of 184 days

Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  2. Valid Alaska teaching certificate (or eligibility at time of hire) with a focus on Special Education
  3. Comprehensive understanding of state and federal Special Education regulations
  4. Compliance with all state and federal qualifications for the designated content area.
