Role Summary

At Clay Lacy Aviation, we pride ourselves on having a team of elite pilots who set the benchmark in the aviation industry. Our selection process is thorough, ensuring that only the most skilled individuals are considered for our positions.

We are currently in search of a Chief Pilot for our Global 6000 aircraft based in Los Angeles. While preference will be given to candidates with type ratings, we are open to evaluating non-typed PICs who possess exceptional qualifications. Candidates must be within a two-hour driving radius or be prepared to relocate to meet this requirement.

This role comes with an enhanced compensation package, comprehensive medical coverage, and a matching 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee flight operations and maintain the highest safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings with crew members.
  • Manage flight schedules and coordinate with ground operations.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3,500 total flight hours, including 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and 1,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
  • ATP certification is mandatory.
  • Type Certification is preferred, with at least 200 hours in type; however, experienced PIC candidates may be considered.
  • Must be able to travel freely to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean destinations.
  • Possess a valid FAA medical certificate and comply with all drug and alcohol testing requirements.
