Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Promote a safety-first culture and serve as the company's Safety Manager, ensuring daily flight operations are conducted in accordance with federal regulations and company policies.
  • Operations Oversight: Lead company safety meetings, manage incident reporting systems, and review and resolve flight operations issues arising from operations irregularities.
  • Training and Development: Develop training goals and strategies, assist in the coordination of outside training, and maintain pilot training records.
  • Line Check Pilot and Instructor: Function as a Line Check Pilot (LCP) or company instructor to qualify, evaluate, and mentor pilots.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including Safety, Maintenance, Airport Operations, SOC, and Administration, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot, including delegating authority to exercise limited Operational Control of the Company.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Possess a First Class FAA medical, valid driver's license, and good driving record. Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country.
  • Experience: Commercial/Inst or Unrestricted ATP FAA, with a minimum of 2500 flight hours and 1000 hours as Pilot-In-Command (PIC) in turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Chief Pilot Designation: 133 Chief Pilot Designation
  • Aviation Safety Degree: Degree in Aviation Safety
