With a network of 1,400 affiliated physicians and 400 locations nationwide, we proudly serve 800,000 patients each year. We are currently seeking a PRN Radiation Therapist to fill an immediate vacancy. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The compensation range for this role is $50-$78 per hour.

Scope of Work:
Under the direct supervision of a radiation oncologist, the Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients.

Precision in positioning the radiation beam to align with the specified tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dosage are critical responsibilities.

Compliance with the US Oncology Compliance Program, including adherence to the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
- Deliver and document radiation therapy treatments accurately under the guidance of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
- Maintain and input patient treatment parameters into the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in the clinical training of newly hired therapists and students.
- Assist in managing patient appointment schedules and ensure accurate billing submissions.
- Perform tasks such as cutting blocks and creating custom molds with precision.
- Conduct simple mu calculations accurately and interpret computerized treatment plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- ARRT certification is mandatory.
- A valid state license for radiation therapy is required.

Position Levels:
- Radiation Therapist I: Requires 0-3 years of active practice as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT).
- Radiation Therapist II: Requires 3-5 years of active practice as an RTT.
- Senior Radiation Therapist: Requires over 5 years of active practice as an RTT.
