Role Summary

We are in search of a skilled Captain for our Part 91 operations based in Van Nuys. This role necessitates an experienced Embraer-type Pilot in Command (PIC) who excels in communication with owners and possesses strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) capabilities. Candidates should be located within a two-hour driving distance or be open to relocating to meet this requirement.

Operation Type: Part 91; approximately 150 to 200 flight hours per year

Compensation and Benefits:
$273,000 - $304,000; fully covered medical/healthcare premiums.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • All candidates must apply through the designated process to be considered.
  • Minimum qualifications include 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command, and 1,000 hours of turbine experience.
  • ATP certification is mandatory.
  • Type Certification is required with at least 200 hours in the specific aircraft type.
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing within a two-hour drive; however, reasonable commuting candidates may also be considered. Those contemplating relocation should specify this in their application along with an estimated timeframe.
  • Must have unrestricted travel capability to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean destinations.
  • Adherence to all Federal Aviation regulations, company operational manuals, and standard operating procedures is required.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) is essential.
  • Must successfully pass DOT/FAA drug screenings and background checks, and comply with random drug/alcohol testing as required.
  • Submission of full, legible copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, along with a completed disclosure form, is necessary as part of the application process.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
