Your role will be crucial in guaranteeing the dependability of aviation repair and maintenance through thorough training and meticulous preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations as outlined in the repair station roster.
Ensure the airworthiness of the articles on which maintenance or alterations are performed before approving them for return to service.

Specific duties include:

  • Performing tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to assess quality or performance.
  • Adhering to all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs), and Local Work Instructions.
  • Monitoring gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
  • Providing procedural guidance to technicians and fellow inspectors, staying updated on required inspection scopes.
  • Reviewing Work Order (W/O) documentation prior to the final release of articles.
  • Coordinating with customers and/or Part 135 operators to secure necessary authorizations.
  • Researching logbooks, preparing logbook entries, and signing off for Return To Service (RTS) approvals.
  • Completing Major Repair and Alterations forms (FAA Form 337) as necessary.
  • Reporting any conditions that may adversely affect the airworthiness of an article under repair or alteration to the Chief Inspector.

Inspectors are accountable for fulfilling assigned duties and responsibilities, along with any additional tasks delegated by the Chief Inspector.


Position Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Power Plant License is mandatory.
A minimum of 3 years' experience inspecting Gulfstream aircraft is required.
Preferred supervisory experience of 6 months to 1 year.
At least 1-2 years' experience in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including 12/24/36/72-month inspections on charter and/or corporate mid-size jets.
Ability to comprehend and interpret aircraft technical data.

Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with all levels of employees and for building robust working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required.
Familiarity with CAMP Systems & MyGulfstream is advantageous.
Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Availability for overtime and potential travel outside the local area on short notice is expected.
