Role Summary

We are in search of a skilled Captain for our Part 91 operations based in Van Nuys. This role necessitates a qualified Embraer-type Pilot in Command (PIC) who possesses excellent communication skills and strong crew resource management (CRM) capabilities. Candidates should ideally reside within a two-hour driving distance or be open to relocating to meet this requirement.

Compensation and Benefits

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • All applicants must submit their applications through the designated platform to be considered.
  • Minimum qualifications include 3,500 total flight hours, 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command, and 1,000 hours of turbine time.
  • ATP certification is mandatory.
  • Type Certification is required with at least 200 hours in the specific aircraft type.
  • Preference will be given to candidates within a two-hour driving radius; however, reasonable commuting options may be evaluated. Individuals planning to relocate should mention this in their application along with an estimated relocation timeframe.
  • Must have unrestricted travel capability to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean nations.
  • Adherence to all Federal Aviation regulations, company operational manuals, and standard operating procedures is required.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) is essential.
  • Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screenings and background checks, as well as submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
  • Submission of clear copies of all FAA certifications (both sides), including medical certificates, along with a completed disclosure form, is necessary as part of the application process.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
