Key Responsibilities:

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that facilitate the smooth operation of our department. Your duties will include:
  • Welcoming and assisting patients and visitors, ensuring they feel valued and informed. You will manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Processing patient admissions and discharges, as well as maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Coordinating communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that all necessary information is conveyed effectively.
  • Managing office supplies and equipment, while keeping track of inventory to ensure that the department runs efficiently.
  • Assisting with the scheduling of patient appointments and providing necessary information regarding insurance and billing.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized waiting area, ensuring a pleasant environment for our patients.
  • Supporting departmental meetings and projects, providing administrative assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • An associate's or technical degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is advantageous.
