Position Summary:

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing various administrative and clerical responsibilities to enhance the patient experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors, ensuring they feel valued and informed. Manage incoming calls and intercom communications effectively, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Process and manage patient admissions and discharges, maintaining accurate and organized patient records. Provide administrative support for departmental initiatives and meetings as required.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and forwarded to relevant departments. Request and manage patient records as needed, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Collect and verify patient insurance information, including co-payments and benefits, to facilitate smooth billing processes.
