We are seeking a Regional Vice President to spearhead and grow our business while shaping strategy within the AMER West region.

Our Regional Vice Presidents are dedicated to driving revenue through both new customer acquisition and the expansion of existing accounts, consistently achieving and surpassing sales objectives and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivating a deep understanding of our technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
- Actively participating in and owning the development of sales plans, compensation structures, and customer segmentation.
- Ensuring the achievement of assigned sales quotas by leading from the front and implementing Elastic's sales methodologies.
- Promoting a culture of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Establishing and nurturing collaborative relationships with representatives from the Open Source community and partner ecosystems.

Regular travel is expected to support deal creation and closure, as well as to meet managerial needs and provide necessary support to your team.

Collaborating with Elastic's leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:
- Proven history of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives in a dynamic, technical client acquisition-driven environment.
- Strong leadership experience in SaaS sales.
- Established executive-level relationships with key accounts.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within an Open Source framework.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus a variable component, together forming the On-Target Earnings (OTE).

The On-Target Earnings (OTE) are structured as a 60/40 pay mix (base salary / target variable).

The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is outlined below.

This range reflects the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would offer for this position at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately offer more or less than the listed range, and the range may be adjusted in the future.


An employee's position within the OTE range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and organizational needs.

Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible for participation in Elastic's stock program.

Our comprehensive rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a variety of other benefits emphasizing employee well-being.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:

$212,400—$336,000 USD

The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is:

$141,600—$223,900 USD

The typical starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is:

$354,000—$559,900 USD
