Business Analyst Opportunity at Selective Insurance

Selective Insurance is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our IT organization. As a key member of our scrum team, you will be responsible for breaking down features into user stories and collaborating with Product Owners to schedule and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to schedule and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions
  • Identify and build relationships with stakeholders for various projects
  • Support developers and testers through the prioritization of user stories
  • Document and manage requirements documentation for different types of work
  • Initiate peer review discussions and incorporate feedback into requirement documents
  • Track tasks and provide time estimates for tasks and requirement estimations

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a business analysis role or equivalent
  • College degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Training or certifications in business analysis and project management preferred
  • Experience in an Agile environment and knowledge of Agile methodology & frameworks

Salary Range: $78,000.00-$112,000.00. The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include the candidate's qualifications and experience.
