Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Developer to join our team at Clark Nexsen. As a Business Developer, you will play a critical role in extending our reach in the Charlotte market, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the firm to clients and the community, with a focus on market sector-specific responsibilities
  • Pre-position the firm for specific pursuits and manage relationships with clients, competitors, partners, and subconsultants
  • Manage business development decisions and day-to-day program, including mentoring and training Seller-Doers and Business Development Coordinators
  • Contribute to individual market sector strategic plans, annual business development plans, and policies
  • Prioritize clients and opportunities, and manage client and pursuit management plans aligning with company goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
  • 5-10 years of professional or internship experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification is desirable but not required
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work without close supervision in a team environment
Work Environment:

Work is sedentary and often performed in an office setting. Occasional travel may be required. We offer a flexible work schedule with two common days in the office to nurture collaboration and innovation.
