About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team at Safety-Kleen Systems, a Clean Harbors company. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth for our Vacuum Services line of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Grow profitable SKE Vacuum Service revenue in assigned territories by implementing business development strategies that meet target company goals.
  • Leverage cold calling, networking, internal and external leads, existing customers, and other methods to generate sales.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert for SKE Vacuum Services within the assigned geographic territory or region.
  • Understand competitive pricing, market rates, and market dynamics to ensure acceptable win rates at acceptable margins.
  • Work with Sales leadership to formulate, develop, prioritize, and implement market strategies, market penetration, and business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure strong communication with Sales Representatives and Account Managers regarding technical expertise, line of business/enhancements, value proposition, and competitor updates.
  • Exploit cross-selling opportunities for other Company services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of environmental industry and/or sales experience.
  • Experience with vacuum services or wastewater treatment highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of business development, revenue enhancement, and market penetration required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communications skills.
  • Customer Service orientated.
  • Subject matter expert for the product line (vacuum services).
  • Negotiating skills required.
  • Weekly territory travel is required, with overnight travel, as needed.
