HR Business Partner

Position Overview:
This role is essential in delivering comprehensive Human Resources support throughout various phases of the employee journey, with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition and employee engagement.
The individual will act as a reliable HR consultant and resource for departmental leaders and staff at all levels within the organization.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Divisional HR Director and is primarily an onsite role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist hiring managers in the recruitment process, including defining job roles, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
- Provide support and guidance on daily employee relations matters and conduct investigations as necessary.
- Serve as a consultant to management regarding the application of employment regulations and organizational policies in specific business scenarios and performance evaluations.
- Facilitate, enhance, and continuously improve the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a welcoming introduction to the company.
- Support leaders and employees throughout the performance management cycle, offering advice and coaching on goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual evaluations, and compensation planning.
- Promote a positive workplace culture that prioritizes safety, enjoyment, and collaborative teamwork.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning by developing, administering, and delivering training and development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and current employee-related information in HRIS and other relevant systems.
- Stay informed about legal obligations and government reporting requirements affecting HR functions, ensuring that policies and procedures are compliant.
- Address inquiries related to benefits programs and policy administration, educating and assisting employees in utilizing available self-service tools.
- Actively participate in managing wellness programs and community engagement initiatives.
- Provide backup support for bi-weekly payroll processing.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
