Role Responsibilities

This role entails providing comprehensive Human Resources support throughout various phases of the employee lifecycle, emphasizing recruitment and employee relations. The selected candidate will act as a reliable HR consultant and advisor to leaders and employees across all organizational levels. The position is primarily based onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist hiring managers in the recruitment process, including defining roles, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with record-keeping standards.
  • Offer guidance on general employee relations matters and conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Advise management on the application of employment laws and company policies in relation to business decisions and performance management.
  • Facilitate and enhance the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a positive introduction to the company.
  • Support leaders and staff with the performance management cycle, including goal setting, feedback sessions, annual reviews, and compensation planning.
  • Promote a positive organizational culture with a focus on safety, enjoyment in the workplace, and teamwork.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning through the development and delivery of training programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and other relevant systems.
  • Stay informed about legal requirements and government regulations impacting HR functions, ensuring compliance in policies and reporting.
  • Respond to inquiries about benefits and policy administration, assisting employees in utilizing available self-service applications.
  • Contribute to wellness program management and community engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Professional HR certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and provide clear updates.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, fostering effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient project management skills, demonstrating excellent time management and result-driven capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to change and perform effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathetic approach to employee interactions.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
