Key Responsibilities:

The National Construction Superintendent will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Daily communication with operations to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Keeping clients and insurance representatives informed about project developments.
  • Adhering to company protocols, safety policies, and accounting procedures.
  • Ensuring service quality meets the highest standards.
  • Establishing project budgets to guarantee profitability.
  • Managing project timelines and documentation from initiation to completion.
  • Conducting project buy-outs and managing subcontractor agreements.
  • Creating and maintaining a draw schedule with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Pulling necessary permits and ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Developing and implementing a Site Safety Plan for field supervisors and laborers.
  • Maintaining open communication with clients and adjusters to enhance customer service.
  • Ensuring job files contain properly signed contracts and required documentation.
  • Timely processing of files for accurate accounting.
  • Completing daily Project Management Reviews for job files.
  • Conducting Safety Toolbox meetings and participating in safety investigations.
  • Providing constructive feedback to management regarding project performance.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with insurance adjusters and the broader insurance community.
  • Exhibiting integrity to uphold the positive image of Cotton Holdings.
  • Overseeing the hiring of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Directing daily activities on construction sites.
  • Addressing client needs and resolving conflicts.
  • Monitoring performance and managing changes in project scope.
  • Understanding and implementing workflow procedures and systems.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

  • Proven knowledge of heavy reconstruction projects is essential.
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with workflow procedures and systems.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships effectively.
  • Valid driving record and ability to travel as required.
