Position Summary

The National Construction Superintendent will oversee and coordinate various construction projects, ensuring all elements of the project are executed effectively. This role encompasses project performance, administrative duties, documentation, safety protocols, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with operations teams daily to monitor project progress and address any issues.
  • Keep clients and insurance representatives informed about all project developments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and accounting procedures.
  • Maintain service quality to meet the highest standards of the organization.
  • Establish project budgets to guarantee profitability.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Develop and implement a Site Safety Plan for field supervisors and labor teams.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and adjusters to foster excellent customer service.
  • Ensure job files are complete with signed contracts and necessary forms.
  • Process project files promptly for accurate accounting.
  • Conduct daily Project Management Reviews for job files.
  • Lead Safety Toolbox meetings and participate in safety investigations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management regarding project performance.
  • Network effectively with adjusters and the insurance community.
  • Uphold the integrity and positive image of Cotton Commercial USA, INC.
  • Oversee the hiring of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Direct daily activities on construction sites to meet client needs.
  • Resolve conflicts with customers and manage changes in project scope.
  • Understand and implement workflow procedures and systems.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of heavy reconstruction projects is required.
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification is a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficient understanding of workflow processes and systems.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Valid driving record with a minimum of three years of experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
