Position Summary

The National Superintendent will oversee and coordinate all facets of construction projects. This role encompasses performance management, administrative duties, documentation, safety compliance, and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with operations on a daily basis to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Keep clients and insurance representatives informed about all project developments.
  • Comply with all company protocols, project safety standards, and accounting procedures.
  • Ensure service quality meets the highest standards set by the company.
  • Establish project budgets to guarantee profitability.
  • Manage project workflow from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
  • Conduct project buy-outs and set payment schedules with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Obtain necessary permits and ensure all documentation is accurately filed.
  • Develop and implement a Site Safety Plan, ensuring compliance by field supervisors and laborers.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and adjusters to foster excellent customer service.
  • Ensure job files contain properly signed contracts and requisite forms.
  • Process project files promptly for accurate accounting operations.
  • Complete daily Project Management Reviews for job files.
  • Lead Safety Toolbox meetings and participate in safety investigations to mitigate risks.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Operations and Production Managers regarding project performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with adjusters, the insurance community, and assigned target businesses.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity to enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Oversee the hiring of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Direct daily activities on construction sites.
  • Address client needs and requests effectively.
  • Resolve conflicts with customers as they arise.
  • Manage operational staff performance and changes in project scope.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of workflow procedures and systems.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: Proven knowledge in heavy reconstruction projects is essential. OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification is advantageous.

Skills: Familiarity with workflow procedures and systems, knowledge of the insurance sector is a plus, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. A valid driving record is required, with a minimum age of twenty-one (21) and at least three (3) years of verifiable driving experience. Candidates must have no more than two moving violations in the past three years and be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs arise.
