About CUMULUS MEDIA

We operate a cluster of 8 leading radio stations that connect with hundreds of thousands of listeners daily, complemented by a suite of digital offerings that extend our reach nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and understand client business needs, goals, and market trends to develop tailored advertising solutions.
  • Deliver compelling multi-platform sales presentations and effectively negotiate and close deals.
  • Become proficient in selling both traditional and digital advertising products, including streaming, website, and social media advertising.
  • Actively prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Adhere to all company procedures for order preparation, billing resolution, and regular reporting on sales activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to strategically position Cumulus Media.
  • Think creatively and propose innovative ideas to enhance client offerings.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and CRM software.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in developing new business relationships in an outside sales capacity.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and sales metrics.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to step outside comfort zones for professional growth.
  • High energy level and passion for sales.
  • Flexibility and creativity in approach.
  • 3 years of experience in Media/Digital Sales preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
