Our organization operates a cluster of 8 radio stations that engage hundreds of thousands of listeners daily. We also extend our reach nationwide through a comprehensive suite of digital offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while enhancing existing client relationships.
- Understand client needs by analyzing their goals, objectives, and market trends to create tailored advertising solutions.
- Deliver compelling multi-platform sales presentations, including broadcast and digital media.
- Develop expertise in selling Cumulus' digital assets and audience extension products to provide a complete marketing solution.
- Actively prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Adhere to all corporate procedures for order preparation, billing resolution, and sales reporting.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively position Cumulus in the marketplace.
- Generate innovative ideas and think creatively to enhance client solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and CRM software.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Experience in developing new business relationships in an outside sales capacity.
- Strong presentation skills for showcasing sales opportunities and successes.
- Solid understanding of lead generation and the ability to connect with potential clients.
- Knowledge of sales metrics to maintain a healthy sales funnel.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to step outside comfort zones for professional growth.
- High energy and passion for sales.
- Flexibility and creativity in approach.
- Digitally savvy with a preference for candidates with a background in Media/Digital Sales.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
