Job Title: Corporate Director of Hotel Sales

Location: Remote or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area

Salary: $150K - $175K + 20% Bonus Potential

Position Overview:

As the Corporate Director of Hotel Sales, you will spearhead the development and implementation of innovative sales strategies aimed at driving revenue growth across multiple hotel properties/brands. This leadership role involves managing a high-performing sales team, cultivating relationships with key clients, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets to enhance overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Comprehensive Sales Strategies: Maximize revenue across all hotel properties through data-driven insights and market analysis.
  • Lead and Mentor a Dynamic Sales Team: Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, ensuring the sales team is equipped to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and Maintain Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring sustained business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Sales Planning and Budgeting: Oversee the preparation and execution of sales plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with hotel management teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Drive the adoption and effective use of CRM software to enhance customer relationship management and sales tracking.
  • Sales Performance Metrics: Monitor sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, ensuring they are equipped to meet and exceed sales targets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Regional Sales Experience: 7+ years of experience in hotel sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and sales strategies.
  • CRM Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
Desirable Skills:
  • Advanced Degree or Certifications: Advanced degree or relevant certifications in Sales or Hospitality Management.
  • Multi-Property Sales Experience: Experience in managing sales across multiple hotel properties.
  • Negotiation and Presentation Skills: Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and travel 3 weeks out of the month.
