Position Overview:
We are looking for a Service Operations Coordinator to become a vital member of our Aldinger Shop Team.


In this position, you will be instrumental in overseeing the daily functions of our calibration specialists, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while upholding exceptional customer satisfaction.


The Service Operations Coordinator will manage the organization and precise entry of customer equipment into our lab management system, as well as the scheduling and assignment of work orders to our skilled technicians.

You will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and calibration specialists, addressing any concerns that may arise to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the branch manager and lead technician to enhance and implement service strategies and processes.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the workflow and scheduling of all calibration and repair tasks.

2. Inspect, receive, and generate work orders for customer items requiring calibration.

3. Prepare quotes and estimates for calibration services.

4. Organize purchase orders and ensure payments for services provided.

5. Communicate with clients to provide updates on order statuses.

6. Address customer requests for corrections or amendments to certificates.

7. Follow up with clients regarding items due for upcoming calibrations.

Qualifications:

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Strong attention to detail and capacity to work independently.

- Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and administrative skills.

- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

- Commitment to high-quality outcomes and business profitability.

- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and manage projects under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Coordinator or Scheduler role.

- Previous experience as an Assistant Service Manager.
