Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and assign technicians to various locations based on client requests and requirements.
  • Optimize service schedules to improve efficiency and adhere to service commitments.
  • Liaise with account managers to evaluate service needs and arrange appointments accordingly.
  • Track the progress of service calls and provide timely updates to clients and management.
  • Prioritize urgent service requests and adjust schedules to accommodate critical situations.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and service technicians to ensure a clear understanding of issues and service expectations.
  • Utilize scheduling software to maintain an organized record of service requests, dispatches, and technician routes.
  • Manage the rescheduling of service appointments as necessary due to delays or client requests.
  • Ensure technicians have the necessary information, tools, and equipment for effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the service team to identify and implement improvements in scheduling and dispatching processes.
  • Monitor technician performance and provide feedback to enhance productivity and client satisfaction.
  • Assist with invoicing, billing, and work order processing as required.
  • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; preference for candidates with an associate degree or higher.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or dispatch roles.
  • Familiarity with plumbing terminology and/or a plumbing background is beneficial.
  • Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Previous experience in logistics and coordinating service calls or appointments.
  • Understanding of service industry practices and field operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Quick problem-solving skills and capacity to make timely decisions.
  • Basic technical knowledge relevant to scheduled services.
  • Professional phone etiquette and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capacity to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
