Job Summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Miami. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment and hiring process, as well as providing guidance and support on HR-related issues to employees and managers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of directly relevant experience in personnel/human resources, as well as supervisory experience. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field is required, along with HR certification such as PHR, SPHR or SHRM.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for:

  • Recruitment and Hiring: Manage the recruitment and hiring process, from identifying suitable candidates to conducting interviews and assisting with hiring decisions.
  • Staffing Needs: Work with management to forecast current and future staffing needs, including preparing personnel forecasts and projecting employment requirements.
  • HR Guidance and Support: Provide guidance, direction, and support on HR-related issues to employees and managers.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in the internal resolution of personnel issues, advising managers on the best course of action for effective resolution.
  • HR Procedures and Systems: Develop, monitor, and continuously improve HR procedures and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Manage payroll and the employee benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
  • New Employee Orientation: Conduct effective new employee orientations to facilitate employee integration and ensure understanding of company policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Performance Evaluation and Compensation: Manage the annual performance evaluation and compensation process, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.

The Human Resources Manager will work closely with management to ensure that all HR-related activities are aligned with the company's goals and objectives. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
