PRIMARY ROLE

The Financial Center Manager II is a seasoned professional tasked with overseeing the daily functions of the branch, enhancing the internal sales framework, and ensuring an exceptional customer journey. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with all operational policies and risk management protocols.

In this capacity, the manager is accountable for generating essential reports concerning operational control and adherence to financial performance metrics, including income, expenses, and budgetary compliance. The role also encompasses safeguarding branch assets, managing financial oversight, handling collections, and executing daily operational procedures. Additionally, the incumbent may engage in sales and service activities as necessary.

The FCM II plays a crucial role in mentoring, evaluating, and developing the performance of their direct reports.

Approximately half of the FCM's time is dedicated to branch management, observation, coaching, and driving internal sales and operational excellence. The other half is spent outside the branch, cultivating business relationships and participating in community and business-related events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees all aspects of daily branch operations
  • Drives the successful implementation of the internal sales strategy across the team
  • Ensures staff deliver an outstanding customer experience by adhering to established service standards
  • Guarantees compliance with branch operations, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Actively engages in local community and business initiatives to promote the bank's brand
  • Collaborates with the Market Manager to develop the annual business strategy for the financial center
  • Works with the Assistant Financial Center Manager to create a monthly sales action plan to achieve branch sales objectives
  • Ensures the branch meets and surpasses corporate audit and compliance standards
  • Participates in external business development efforts
  • Responsible for managing branch profitability
  • Conducts regular coaching and employee development sessions
  • Manages performance evaluations and talent development
  • Handles scheduling to optimize branch productivity and efficiency
  • Conducts and reviews branch audits
  • May undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

  • Directly supervises the Assistant Financial Center Manager and Financial Center Relationship Representatives, while indirectly overseeing Financial Center Service Representatives

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficient in coaching, developing, and managing team performance

EDUCATION

  • A High School diploma is mandatory.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 3 years in financial center management or supervisory roles is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales/Service management is preferred
